I don't know why but I got very wrapped up in the story mode. That's for snipers. If you can get a good team together then you'll be set, but, if you're all alone, like others said it ends up being a camp fest to win. It was very dramatic and intense. My brother got this game for me for my birthday a couple years ago because he asked what a few games were I was interested in, well.
Right from the start I felt like I was playing a movie or something. I always desire that co-op offline, but it's a great game to play and the detail is wonderful. I get right back in and try again. by the end I had a few tears welling up.
not me though. Not really complaining about anything, everyone should be able to appreciate a good challenge. Lots of guns going off, big explosions, people yelling, planes going over your head. yea, wow. People are always finding them then exploiting them.
I personally love first person shooters (FPS), even if I get shot down. and I pay for it every time. I just can't sit still for too long, I feel like I'm cheating myself if I do. I'm a decent level, got quite a few of the unlocks. I didn't want it to be over honestly. it's annoying. I'm glad I said COD4.
Give this game a try if you even slightly think you like FPSs. I'm not sure what it was that brought me to that point, but, I do know that I had a sense of accomplishment after that. As for the online multi-player, besides getting shot down a lot by those who do not sleep, it's very enjoyable. Sure there may be a couple of bugs out there, but what game doesn't have some kind of bug, huh. +_+
This is the Best war game i ever played, the grafics are just perfect, i just love it.
Great music/score too; fits perfectly with the game. It's simple and easy to use. Crank the sound up and it's like you're there.- Sound: Stunning surround sound via Dolby Digital. This game looks incredible.
Call of Duty on the other hand. It's seems the Free-for-All mode takes the longest. WOW. Music intensifies as the mission progresses. The points system gets you hooked fast, as your performance get you perks, such as new weapons or "power ups" such as improved bullet damage or invisibility on the radar.
Resistance: Fall of Man works perfectly. Sit tight, and you'll hear the enemy approaching with pinpoint accuracy. perfect.- Gameplay: Perfect. then exit and try again.
The Good:- Graphics: I thought Ghost Recon was the best looking game on PS3, then Call of Duty 4 came out. Overall, this online mode rivals Resistance: Fall of Man as the best on PS3.The Bad:- Online Mode connection issues. First I'll note that typically my online connection is great. sometimes it takes 10 minutes to connect to a game. Single player game is far too short, but the online modes more than make up for this.- Weapon Selection: lots of choices from a variety of firearm categories. It's very frustrating. Every detail is painstakingly thought out; from the blades of grass to the bricks on the building, the way this game looks totally immerses you.
Whatever system they're using for the online mode doesn't work so well. This gameplay should be a model for every first person shooter. It's all here.- Online Layout/Concept: tons of game styles, and an excellent point/reward system. You try connect, wait a few minutes, nothing. If it wasn't for this problem and the short single player mode, the game would be a perfect 10 in my book.
This game is increadible for single player. Some of the missions are awesome. The only thing lacking is there is no cooperative play, like COD World at War.
All the hype is accurate. The graphics and gameplay are unmatched.I was regretting paying so much for PS3 until we got this game.Only drawbacks are that you can't play it co-op, it's expensive, and it's too short.
